The Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act of (Republic Act No. ), informally known as the Reproductive Health Law or RH Law, is a law in the Philippines, which guarantees universal access to methods on contraception, fertility control, sexual education, and maternal care.. While there is general agreement about its provisions on maternal and child health, there is great Enacted by: House of Representatives of the Philippines. Esther Kisakye, now a Justice of the Supreme Court of Uganda, started a Health and the Law course at the School of Law, Makerere University. This course motivated me to write a book, Fundamentals of Health Law in Uganda (Pretoria University Law Press, ), which is now a major sourcebook for students and practitioners of Health Law and Policy.
The book opens with a legal primer and timelines sketching the medical and legal milestones in the history of reproductive technology and law.
